Amongst our recent projects are a prestigious development of new-build barn style houses and Grade II listed barn conversions at Hamels Park, Buntingford; a beautiful new manor house in Cambridgeshire; several new bungalows in Essex and re-tiling a dove house shed at a local National Trust site. We also work on numerous extensions and loft conversions to private houses.
Our projects vary between commercial developments such as supermarkets and the hotel industry and smaller developments such as those listed below.

In addition to the Folly Farm site for Desper Developments, we are delighted to have been involved in the development at Coopersale Farm, at Coopersale in Epping, Essex. A former working dairy farm was converted into one large 5 bedroom property and the stable block into a 4 bedroom property.
Conversion of a Grade II listed house into 11 luxurious apartments and 13 newbuild homes for Enterprise Property Group Limited, using Heritage Clayhall clay plaintiles.


We have carried out the roofing works at several exciting developments by Enterprise Property Group.
The first of these was a residential conversion at Hamels Park Farm Barns, a 16th Century estate in the village of Buntingford in Hertfordshire . The development comprised 3 Grade II listed barn conversions and 9 new-build homes.
Some restored 17th Century Grade II listed traditional brick and flint barns at Barley Barns in Barley, Hertfordshire were converted to provide 3 new homes, alongside 6 newly constructed houses. GLA Roofing were delighted to carry out the roofing works at this prestigious development.
Finally, GLA Roofing was involved in the residential development site at the Hanbury Institute, Stonton Road, Church Langton, Leicestershire in Eternit machine made clay tiles and new apartments at 6-8 Cambridge Road, Linton, Cambridgeshire in natural Chinese slate.

We are proud to have worked for Premier Inn at locations as diverse as Ipswich and Chelmsford in Essex, to Dudley, Hinckley and Solihull in the West Midlands, to Littlehampton in West Sussex and Silverstone in Northamptonshire.
Local to our offices in Colchester, we laid the roofing on a small block of flats built on an old snooker hall site in Stanway and developed a near derelict site for Allianz Pharmacy in Colchester involving both pitch and flat roofs. Secondhand clay peg tiles were replaced at a local Church which had been vandalised.
